Liquid War 6

Liquid War is a unique multiplayer wargame. Its rules are truely original and have been invented by Thomas Colcombet. You control an army of liquid and have to try and eat your opponents. A single player mode is available, but the game is definitely designed to be multiplayer, and has network support.

Liquid War
I think this game should be called just Liquid War not 6. 6 is just the version number and while it is a full rewrite its still the same game. see http://www.ufoot.org/liquidwar for details. I have only played v5 and its a very different concept and quite fun but the graphic swere limited to 800x600. V6 looks to be quite an improvement.
The other issue is that there is only one developer and no real community round this game. The developer has proved to be reliable though and has been updating for over 15 years so it may have a future.
