King Arthur’s Gold is a game about mining, building castles and destroying your enemies. It is a side-scrolling 2D action multiplayer war game with focus on building, constructing siege machines and intense PvP combat. Some inspirations for the game are Soldat, Minecraft, Dungeon Keeper & Ace of Spades.

Non-free and questionable player base
Game play is very nice and it is a fun game.
It is not free though so open clonk is the better alternative.
People use foul language on the servers all the time. Some players even just join to destroy the own teams structure. It is not a nice experience.
Now in alphafunding
The game now in Desura alphafunding. cost around $10.
Simple&Fun game-play, you need to read the wiki to see what you can do, like how to build a castle, a wall, a tower, a catapult. Or pure fight strategy.
It is comparable to OpenClonk somehow.
OpenClonk still win though.
This game started to presale- or order.
