The Flower Shop: Winter In Fairbrook

The Flower Shop: Winter In Fairbrook

The Flower Shop: Winter In Fairbrook is a dating and farming simulation game and takes place after the first Flower Shop game, Summer In Fairbrook.

This time, play as Natalie and met some of the characters of the first game like Clara, Susana, Steve, Trent, Jacob plus a "new entry": Ryan who runs the general store of the town.
You can plan your weeks and who you spend time with using the weekly scheduler. Customize each week, spend time with who you like, or ignore everyone and work all day. Don't forget to take a break once in a while, or your health will suffer.
The game features nine different endings that change based on your decisions throughout the game. Will Natalie finally learn to be responsible?

my review

The characters are charming, and the text is well-written. I enjoyed this part a lot. The characters have a personality, and it’s interesting to follow a story of each of them. The snowball scene is a cuteness itself.

The character graphics are wonderful (of course they would be, done by the talented M. Beatriz García who also worked on Autumn’s Journey).

The farming simulator is completely useless. You end up with $800 in the end without any challenges, just doing the same routine work. I have no idea how we are supposed to get normal endings? Ignore the farming alltogether? Skip the simulator and click 'stop working' every day? Spend all the money in the shop during the last week?.. This part is not very well-thought.
