Good game, project hopefully still alive.

This project pretty much died after 0.5beta was released but it looks like some people are trying to get it going again: http://sourceforge.net/apps/phpbb/extremetuxracer/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=52

I hope they succeed.

This game came from 'PlanetPenguin Racer', and 'PlanetPenguin Racer' came from 'Tux Racer'. Basically all three game are same. But 'Extreme Tux Racer' has best graphic and most amount of stages. Play this game.

Basically they are all inactive

As for Extreme Tux Racer seems died unpredictable, with 0.5 release ahead and website/wiki built up. But recently I found there is still activity, though very small progress, slowly/ Good luck to them.
