Occurring right after Subterranean Animism, it follows Marisa through her quest for immortality, and the relationships she develops during that time both friendly and romantic. The main leads are Reimu, Alice, Patchouli, Flandre and one mystery girl, though a lot of Gensoukyo’s other residents get involved here and there.
