Chromium B.S.U. is a fast paced, arcade-style, top-scrolling space shooter.

You are captain of the cargo ship Chromium B.S.U., responsible for delivering supplies to our troops on the front line. Your ship has a small fleet of robotic fighters which you control from the relative safety of the Chromium vessel.

Chinese praise this as "Raiden on Linux", I don't see a proper reason.

May the fact it is still under maintaince have proven its playability.

Not even close!, Raiden and esp. Raiden 2 has everything this game doesn't have great music, boss fights, lovely pixel graphics and an ending.

If you want a good vertical shmup on linux try Friking Shark, Tyrian, Jamestown(bullet hell) or Raptor: Call of the shadows(not available anymore...)
