20,000 Light Years Into Space is a single-player steampunk-themed real-time strategy game written in Python. The game goal is to manage a steam supply network on an alien planet, while under attack from aliens and other hazards. The game has interactive tutorial and three difficulty levels. It was first released in 2006, and won second prize in the Pyweek game programming competition.

I probably played a older version, this rating will keep until I got time to experience the latest version.

Nothing has really changed from the pyweek entry version.
It isn't really being developed any more, but it is maintained.
