Here's the new link: http://github.com/downloads/Pacho/IRC-Extended/IRC-Extended-Haven_-_Temp.jnlp

I've managed to successfully run the game with it. Don't forget to check that you have _Sun_ Java installed and it is selected as default JRE.

My idea would be, to write a little text in front of the comment section to describe what the comments are for, e.g. posting questions and solutions...

In the beginning i thought that there are numerous places to ask for help about installing/running a game but at it is now, with already some comments addressing these problems, lgdb.org actually looks like the right place.

One design problem actually needs to be addressed first and it would be helpful if you could comment on that too. The comment section doesn't look like the right place for discussions, a forum thread would be much better cause the readability is greater and every question can have its own thread. Right?

(edit) it runs after installing the 3 synaptic results for "jogl"
(edit2) up to the login screen at least, then some generic java permission error is displayed. (the relevant part does not fit into the screen)

I have found this on the web

code:

javaws http://www.havenandhearth.com/java/haven.jnlp

it gets almost there, but then it errors out

Removed the second link; Problem with the first link may be caused by the havenandhearth.com server, which looks down at the moment I'm writing this comment. Let's see if it will work when the server goes up.

I have tried both links, but one is dead, and the other one does not work

Strange indeed, it seams that the Go Ollie! page was not indexed. I havn't noticed anything like that before, maybe its the case for other pages too.

EDIT: Rebuilding the search index did help.

For some reason search phrase 'ollie' does not find "Go Ollie!" game
