When I first saw MirthKit, I thought it was pretty promising. A pity the project seems to be rather dead, no IDE for developing projects + rather obscure scripting language seems to have done it in.

Hi. I'm the programmer for this game. Yeah unfortunately you need Box2D 2.1 to play this game. Making it work with Box2D 2.0 will not be so easy because there are many changes between the two versions. Hopefully ubuntu will update their repos soon.
If you want to play on ubuntu right now, then you can run the windows version using wine. For me it works flawlessly.

Note to Ubuntu-based distro users: looks like you'll need fresh Box2.1, not Box2.0.1 that comes with repos. I hadn't tested with 2.1 (I bet it will be Ok), but it surely will not compile with 2.0.1 (at least, without source editing).
