Pretty good, improves slightly, but doesn't add too much as far as i can see.

Simply as it says, as far as i can see, it doesn't add anything, but it does give people the chance to play with a Gamepad rather then a mouse n' keyboard, but in either case, it's nice to see that thing's are doing well for the- stil active! -project.

I tried ti an it was intrsting, when you first start it, it doesn't come to a menu. it puts you into a false game in which THEN, You've to load a new game inside of a false game, an start it in a false game. Basicaly the game starts up with you stuck in an empty cave as a generic player character to interact wth the menu.
It's intresting at the least... In anycase, a good launcher, but doesn't seem to add much worth while as far as i can see. :)

Just as a little update: It looks pretty much like the original game now. With a normal menu start and so on. Goal of version 1.0 is to make the original morrowind playable to 100%, by the way. So additions are not (yet) planned. There are some exceptions though, like there is someone working on joystick support and things like that.

It's a bit weird to install it, because some files on the disk are hidden. On linux, I mounted it with the "unhide" option and then used the installer of the engine. On OSX I wasn't able to use the "unhide" option, so I used rsync to copy the whole disk to a local folder. Then I used the engines installer.

Morrowind is by far my most enjoyed game. I have a few thousand hours into this game across Xbox, PC and PC with Steam. The OpenMW project has made amazing progress since I first started to follw it. They have regular releases at a solid rate and I am happy to see the new features every new revision. I always find it funny that with every new TES game that is released they always make a mod to go back to "Morrowind" even though most people "don't like" the third game. Also like their approach they took in making the engine replacement and the new coder is going to be great for the modding community. The new editors will provide even more versatility to the people who wish to add additional content to the game. Can't wait for a 1.0 release. Keep up the amazing work guys!
