Level 60 population growing fast!

Hello community! Great news in the Warmasters front. 106 players in RA and 51 in hours have achieved level 60 in less than 30 days since the release of the expansion! That’s awesome!

At this rate, we aren’t far from the first Warmaster to appear. So, congratulations to all who got up to this new level cap  already and keep up the good work! More exciting news about Warmasters coming up very soon. Stay tuned!

Introducing Warmaster’s abilities (Part 2)

Time to unveil the second batch of skills that Warmasters have to change the fate of battles and lead their allies to victory!

Defensive portal:

Creates a portal that allows teleporting up to 10 nearby allies to  one of your realm fortifications. This will help the Warmaster and his war companions to travel directly to a fortification in danger of your realm to defend or reclaim it.


Offensive portal:

Creates a portal that allows teleporting up to 10 nearby allies to different locations in enemy territory. For the Warmaster and his war companions, this portal is an extremely useful tool allowing them strategically jump into the action.

Introducing Warmaster’s abilities (Part 1)

For the ones who are eager to know everything about the new Warmasters discipline, I’m happy to announce that the wait is finally over.

Starting today we’ll be presenting the first abilities that will feature this incredibly powerful new skill tree, obviously only available for characters that turn level 60 and achieve the title of Warmaster.

For the first part of this special blog report we introduce the Warmaster’s beacons:

Defensive Beacon:

With a duration of two minutes, players interacting with this beacon will receive Warmaster’s Defensive Blessing, which raises player’s maximum health.  By doing this, the Warmaster’s war companions will be able to get more damage from different enemies  and remain alive for a longer period of time, which could be very useful to hold a specific position.


Offensive Beacon:

Lasting two minutes, players interacting with this beacon will receive Warmaster’s Offensive Blessing. This raises defense against crowd control spells and attacks making it very difficult for enemy players to freeze, stun or knock you down. The Offensive Beacon creates a unique opportunity to inflict massive damage on enemies who dare to stand in the way of the Warmaster and his war companions.

Warmasters: Behind the scenes, Part 3

Here is the final part of this special Q&A in which one of NGD lead artists, Nicolas Campelo, give us an insight on his great job developing the new Regnum’s armors, specially designed for Warmaster’s.

Q: Is there any technological differences from the previous armor sets?

A: The most important tech feature that I used this time was based off the design improvements that we included when we made the characters revamp. Even though all new sets were adapted to the new character models, the Warmaster armors were the first especially designed for them. In addition to that we used several new materials to paint the textures.

Q: Last question. Which armor do you prefer the most and why?

A: I definitely choose the Hunter armor. Even though it doesn’t have as much detail as the rest, I think it will stand out in a more subtler way, thanks to a good combination of colors and materials.

Warmasters: Behind the scenes, Part 2

Time for the second part of the special Q&A with Nicolas Campelo, one of NGD’s lead artists, the mastermind behind the development process of the new Regnum armors, specially designed for the Warmasters.

Q: Which were the most important challenges you faced during the development process?

A: One of the biggest challenges while designing the new armor sets for Regnum was to increase the variety in designs and shapes, taking into account the vast array of content already in the world that has a well established look.

The sizes and silhouettes of the current armor parts and their limitations were also something to consider. On this occasion, being part of an expansion that increased the level cap of the players, the objective was to create entirely distinctive sets, different from previous ones. I think that what helped most was the use of new color combinations as well as materials, absent until now.

More than a week has passed since the launch of the biggest expansion in Regnum history. We couldn’t be happier with the results, and as an example we could mention the new connected users count record in Ra Server.

But for now, as all of you continue your progress to level 60 and becoming a Warmaster, we would love to talk to you about the process behind the development of the new armors sets, probably the hottest topic nowadays in the Regnum Community.

Again, we summon one of NGD’s lead artists, Nicolas Campelo, the man behind the creation of the Warmasters equipment.

Q: Which was the main concept that you had in mind while designing the armors?

A: The main concept was to maintain the differentiation between classes and, at the same time, establish a powerful and intimidating look of a Warmaster from a visual perspective. Therefore, my goal was to accomplish that the armors project the image of a leader for his/her respective area of expertise.

If I had to pick the one that best resembles that concept I would definitely go with the Knight’s one, which got inspiration from a king’s image (because of the crown shaped helmet and the colors that I’ve used).

Warmasters: All new features

Hello community.

We couldn’t be happier with the first results of Warmasters. For example, this week, we established a new record of active users in RA (the Spanish server) something that couldn´t have been possible without you, the users that play Regnum day and night. So, first of all, we would like to thank you all for your support. This will, indeed, help us make Regnum a better MMO for everyone.

But today, and responding to some doubts that appeared in all Regnum’s communication channels, we have prepared a full explanation of the features included in Warmasters.

New level Cap:

Regnum maximum level has been raised from 50 to 60. In addition to that, new armor, weapons and tunics up to 60 have been included. All this equipment can be obtained by looting from dead creatures and also by purchasing Lucky Boxes.

Becoming a Warmaster:

The Warmasters are the most powerful warriors in the Regnum World, so becoming one of them needs some hard work, but we guarantee you it will be worth your time.
In all major cities of the three game realms, there’s a NPCs, the Warmaster. You will recognize them because they look different than any other character in town. All level 50 characters can get special daily quests from the Warmasters, especially related to the RvR/PvP game mechanics.
As a reward for completing the quest, you will receive a new item, Master Coins (1000 coins per completed quest).

You will be able to trade them with the Warmaster and obtain exclusive equipment, (that can be equipped when you reach level 60) that will transform you in a true master of war. Compleatin a full Warmaster armor set will unlock unique skills that will be found in a new discipline called “Warmasters”. All skills are related to the RvR aspect of the game, for instance, one of them allows you to teleport different characters to different locations in the War Zone. It´s important to note that getting the Warmaster status cannot be achieved in any other way.

New gameplay mechanics:

Players can now get experience by defeating players from other realms. You don´t necessarily need to do all the damage to get participation in a kill, just make sure you get a few hits and you will be rewarded. Please bear in mind that achieving a kill close to a save spot will not give you any experience. Also, you can only get experience by killing the same character up to 5 times per day.

Armor Enhancements:

Just like the weapons, all Regnum’s armors and tunics now come with special sockets that allow them to receive different enhancing properties.

New zones:

Some zones of the game map have been added, like the Golden Falls and the Crystal Fjörd, located in Syrtis and Alsius War Zones, respectively. Also, the Ignis swamp was re edited and expanded. In these areas, you will find different creatures of high level that will give an important amount of experience when you kill them. The population of these creatures is determined by the hour of the day, some of them roam the world during the day and some scarier ones lurk during the night.

Please, keep in mind that, right now we are working to solve some last minute issues to make the gameplay experience better for all users. As always, your feedback is very important, so feel free to post all our opinions and concerns about Warmasters in the official thread of the expansion. Clicking here for Spanish forum and here) Also, in tune with the Warmaster´s launch celebration, from Thursday February 24st (5:00 PM GMT) until Thrusday March 3rd (5:00 PM GMT) there will be a 20% Ximerin bonus for each purchase during that period.
